Copper jewelry is great all year round, but especially in the Fall. It is warm, comforting and casual. It reminds you of sitting by the fire with a cup of hot chocolate. It goes really well with your Friday casuals and your Saturday jeans. Whether you are at work, shopping, or you are a soccer mom, copper jewelry will always look good. This pendant is especially appropriate because it is a natural stone, a geode. It is wire wrapped with a special copper enameled wire that has a nylon coating; it does not require polishing.
With the current style of mixing metals, you can choose to wear your pendant on a silver or gold chain or even an omega necklace up to 3/4″ wide. A black suede cord would also be nice for the Fall.
The copper wire is a very complimentary to the blue-greens in the geode.
The pendant is about 2″ wide and 3 1/2″ long. It is not heavy and will hang nicely from your chain and maintain a balance so it will never look askew on your neck. It is only $25.00 and will come to you in a gift wrapped box via USPS priority mail. Most of my jewelry is unique, and I only have one of these blue-green geode pendants. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you.
So I picked out my colors for Fall. I always do this for Fall because it’s my favorite season, and I can always find lots of choices in the colors I like. This season my primary colors are chocolate brown, midnight blue and some kind of a green. Recently, I’ve been reading a lot about a capsule wardrobe which is where you limit your wardrobe to 33 items including pants, tops, shoes, handbags and jackets. I don’t wear skirts. I don’t know if I can limit it that little. They say your friends won’t mind seeing you in the same outfit so much. My friends are fortunately pretty vocal, so I’m sure I’ll find out. So in celebration of the new season, I decided I needed a new necklace and earrings set. Something that will go with my Fall wardrobe and show off (a little bit) my beading skills. I saw a picture of a necklace like this on Pinterest and decided to try it. After a few mis-starts (about 2 hours of them), I figured it out, and here is the result. I think it’s not too dressy. It can extend from 16″ to 18″. When I tried it on, I decided it was the kind of necklace that you wore closer to your neckline, but 18″ is not too long. I think I’ll like it and wear it frequently to craft shows, shopping, Church, and when I’m out with my friends. In case you don’t recognize the gemstone, it’s Golden Tiger’s Eye which is one of my favorites. There is also a blue Tiger’s Eye, but I prefer the Golden. It’s a fun pattern and whips up in a few hours. If anyone wants the directions, let me know and I’ll put together instructions.
